Te āhua o Te Tūrunga - Nature of the position
We're seeking a highly experienced Principal Advisor Performance responsible for translating complex data and evidence into accessible, meaningful stories that clearly articulate our performance, progress, and the future opportunities in international education.
This is a critical role within our data and insights programme, one that ensures our strategic decisions are well-informed and that our work is clearly and effectively communicated internally, to government, across NZ Inc, and to education providers. You will play a central role in strengthening how we tell our performance story, contributing to ENZ's reputation and visibility, and uplifting the value of the work we invest in this space.

Ngā tino Pūkenga / Wheako - Essential skills / experiences
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Proven ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and compelling narratives for diverse audiences, enabling evidence-based decisions.
- Expertise in data storytelling especially in delivering insight-led messages across PR, media, digital, and stakeholder communication channels.
- Experience in customer segmentation, performance analysis, and journey mapping to support strategic direction and drive measurable outcomes.
- A creative mindset, paired with strong analytical skills, to make data insights engaging, relevant, and actionable.
